  3. Cancellation Approval (a) Our team will review your cancellation request and assess its eligibility for approval. (b) We reserve the right to approve or deny a cancellation request at our discretion. (c) In the event that a cancellation request is approved, Chilterns Auction House will notify you and provide instructions on the next steps, including any applicable refund process.

  4. Refunds (a) If a cancellation request is approved, and a refund is applicable, Chilterns Auction House will initiate the refund process as promptly as possible. (b) The refund amount may be subject to deductions, such as administrative fees or costs incurred by Chilterns Auction House in relation to the cancelled order. (c) Refunds will typically be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.   5. Exceptions (a) Some auction events may have specific terms and conditions that override this general Auction Order Cancellation Policy. In such cases, the specific terms and conditions provided for that particular auction event will govern the cancellation process. (b) Certain items may be excluded from cancellation or subject to different cancellation procedures due to their unique nature, such as one-of-a-kind or time-sensitive items. Any such exceptions will be clearly communicated during the auction event.
